Turned my 2009 into a 2013 truck for cheap!
Can't speak to durability because I have only had these Halo CFL headlights a couple of months, but so far so good. They look current and up to date day or night. I chose the the 4300k due to the natural light. This is just a matter of taste. Might go to a 600k if I did it again.
These lights have the halo which looks really cool and is a great daylight runner. The beams are cut off at the top which doesn't blind oncoming drivers. The smoke appearance goes great with my truck too. Great choice for any vehicle.
I installed them and it took a couple of hours. I have a background of many years as an ASE certified tech. You can do it, too. Take your time and THINK and you will be ok. Make sure the ballasts, etc are out of the weather and maybe zip lock baggy them too. I did this, not because it is required but because I am cautious.
