Better than traditional blades.
Contrary to the only other review on these wipers, these are worth every penny.

I've had silicone blades once before on my first car, arco brand, which turned me to these, since piaa is the only brand that I've found that still makes silicone wipers. In the year I've used them, they've performed better than the fresh rubber wipers on our other vehicle. They haven't frozen to the windshield, and remain mostly soft at -20 degrees fahrenheit. The constant silicone application keeps water reliably beading, with me scrubbing my windshield every fill-up, without reapplying rain x every month or two. The frame is sturdy and the side springs make a huge difference compared to traditional wiper designs. The wipers so far have remained streak free.

Overall the silicone blade is the biggest selling point. They don't stiffen in the cold like rubber does, and are considerably harder to nick, which usually is the cause of some streaking. The silicone also seems to last...

Best wipers I've ever owned
Prior to these, I had the Rain-X Repel wipers which cost about 20$ each. They lasted about two months before they started streaking. Following this disappointment, I started looking into silicone wipers. I ended up going with these over the regular PIAA wipers because of the sleek design. They come with a Rain-X like solution to apply to the windshield which I believe works better than Rain-X. The actual windshield wipers are the best I've ever owned, and so far have well justified the price. I can only hope they last as long as advertised.

Even if they don't last years, 6$ refills is a pretty sweet deal -- PIAA 94050 Silicone Wiper Blade Refill - 20"

UPDATE: 9/12/12

About 10 months with these wipers, they've seen every season now. Still working as if brand new. I drive a 2001 Mustang, and this is probably the only "investment" that will actually save me money =P
Prep your surface and are rewarded with great wiping
Installed on a 2005 Pontiac GTO

Firstly, for this car, none of the included adapters were needed. Blade clipped right in, paired with a 22" blade for the drivers side.

Follow diligent surface preparation and this blade is second to none. Used PIAA super silicone blades on 2 other cars, lasted longer and wiped better than any BOSCH or other blade used.

Surface prep should be as follows: clean windshield with soap and water, then wipe with included alcohol swab, then clean with glass cleaner (used invisible glass) then run the blades on your dry glass for 30 minutes.

Afterward you should get water beading and easy chatter free wiping for 1-2 years.
