Fits perfectly
Identical to the original 2000 Chevy Astro motor. Fits and works perfect and is up to hundreds of bucks cheaper than original stock item.

Great price, shipping a little slow
This item certainly is much less expensive than the GM OEM part. After installation the problem of the front wheels hopping went away. I'm very please that I found this part on Amazon.com.
Works as well as Original Equipment
At $350 less than the GM replacement part price I simply had to try this Dorman replacement transfer case shift motor for a 2001 GMC AWD Safari van. I installed it in less than 1/2 hour. It has been in service for over a month and appears to operate the same as the original. Going through slick muddy and grassy hillsides the awd works absolutely perfect so far. Time will tell how long this sensibly priced replacement transfer case encoder motor will perform. I have no information or reason to believe it will not last as long as the original GM part and even if it only lasts a couple years I will still be way ahead over the GM O.E. price!
