Don't care for the Velcro retainers, too hard to line up and unforgiving once they are on.

Tough rug mat
As with the bed mat , its a good product and seems tough enough for moderate use. The fit seemed a little bit big for my tailgate. Install is easy enough but don't think the install( velcro would hold up to alot of punishment. Load fire wood onto it and it held up well.
Bed Rug Tailgate cover
I have a rubber mat in the bed of my 2011 Silverado 2500HD but needed something to protect the tailgate. I wanted something that I could slide coolers, etc., in to truck. The Bed Rug mat did the trick. Made of very heavy duty carpet that does not stain. Was surprised to find that this item was manufactured about 4 miles from where I live. Great product.
