Factory OEM quality, working fine.
I had someone else install while prepping my diesel for a long road trip (I was at work). But I did pull it out of the box beforehand and I looked over its construction and finish. It was well made without apparent defects or any shipping damage.
It seems to be working fine. The oil blowout from around the valve covers, filler cap, and oil pan joint stopped after this was installed. Apparently the old unit was locked in the shut position.
It's too bad I could not get OEM locally. I bought two of these so I have a spare for later. I believe these came from a GM source in Canada. The readily available units here were considerably cheaper quality.

OEM material, just as ordered.
Couldn't find a Pcv valve for my 6.5L here in town.
Parts shops could have ordered it at twice the price I paid here.
Change it regularly
It is essential that you change this regularly on you GM 6.5L diesel. Failure to do so can lead to excessive oil consumption and premature turbo failure.
