Perfect
I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8L V8, 2 WHEEL DRIVE. It had a broken shifter cable and I bought this part. It came in a new unopened AC Delco box and fit my truck perfectly. I had a friend who is an expert transmission mechanic install it, it took him only 20 minutes to install the bottom half of the cable (which was the part that was broken) under the truck. The shifter works great now.

Hard to find part in stock at Amazon
The transmission cable that I ordered fit perfectly. However, I had to have GM's O.E.M. part number or I would not have found it on Amazon. I entered the part no. in my search engine and this was one of the sites offering the part. The price was reasonable and I selected next day shipping. It arrived on time and in good condition. Excellent packaging.
